The Sketchy Poet
is a place for me to store and share
my love of drawing, poetry, and nature all in one place.
Most of my previous sketches have been in the privacy of my own journals.
Seeing other blogs, who have posted their drawings,
has inspired me to move beyond just sketching
during church sermons ( while meticulously taking notes – of course!).
Our homeschool family has been doing drawing lessons from books for over ten years.
~ According to what I’ve read – anyone can learn to draw.~
My hope is that you will enjoy these restful posts
and be inspired to dig into your own style of art.

What a fantastic concept for a blog!! I too am a lover of poetry and nature but sadly, lack the skills to bring drawing into that mix. I am absolutely loving your work, you have a talent with words both words and art. Looking forward to seeing/reading more! 🙂
